Market risk disclosures

Last updated: May 24, 2026Reading time: ~5 min

Required disclosures for users of Reverge in the Indian securities market. Please read in full before using broker integrations, derivatives features, or AI-generated commentary.

1. Market risk

Investments in securities market are subject to market risks. Read all related documents carefully before investing.

Equity, derivatives, mutual funds, and other instruments traded on Indian exchanges (NSE, BSE) carry the risk of partial or total loss of capital. Prices respond to macroeconomic conditions, company fundamentals, policy decisions, liquidity, and global events that no platform can predict or eliminate.

2. Past performance

Past performance is not indicative of future returns. Historical charts, strategy templates, and aggregated signals shown anywhere on Reverge describe what happened in a specific past window under specific conditions. They are not a forecast and they are not a guarantee. A strategy that worked in one regime can underperform or lose money in another.

3. AI-generated analysis

AI-generated analysis, chart narration, pattern callouts, and commentary on Reverge are for informational and educational purposes only. They do not constitute investment advice, a recommendation, a solicitation, or a personalised portfolio opinion. AI models can be wrong, miss context, or hallucinate. Any decision to buy, sell, or hold an instrument is yours alone.

4. Regulatory status

Reverge is not a SEBI-registered investment advisor, research analyst, portfolio manager, or broker. We are a tooling and visualization platform. We do not custody funds, do not execute trades on our books, and do not provide personalised investment advice. Where we offer broker integrations, orders are routed to your separately-regulated broker; that broker, not Reverge, is the entity executing and settling your trade under SEBI and exchange rules.

5. Futures and options

Futures and options (F&O) carry substantially higher risk than cash-market equity. Leverage can amplify losses beyond your initial margin, and intraday moves in liquid contracts can trigger margin calls or auto square-off by your broker. Please refer to SEBI’s risk disclosure document for derivatives and the risk-disclosure forms provided by your broker before trading F&O. If you do not understand how margin, expiry, and assignment work, do not trade these instruments.

6. No guaranteed returns

Nobody on Reverge - not our team, not the AI, not any template author - can guarantee returns, profit, or capital protection. Anyone promising guaranteed returns in the Indian securities market is violating SEBI rules; please report such claims to us and to SEBI.
